Hey guys I am a 16 handicap player and it seems that the biggest obstacle in getting my game to the next level is short shots. Hitting irons and wedges or shots under 125 yards is a big challenge for me, I have trouble with judging what club to use on those shots and was wondering if you had any tips for judging shot shots? I hit all my clubs driver-7 iron pretty well and am getting acceptable with a putter but if I keep misjudging the green I'm going to go nuts.

Do u just have to use a putter on the green or can you use another golf club?

Technically you do not have to use a putter. I have used a wedge if I am like over 80 feet from the hole, but I also use putters from off the green just practice and make sure you are confident with all your shots before you try anything new. Just on the side I do not recommend using anything but a putter on the green, it is such a tight lie that the ball will stop instantly when it comes down.

i have a 83 honda vf750 and when i take off it makes a puttering noise but once i get my rpms up it runs fine. as soon as i let off and start letting my rpms go down it makes that puttering noise again. sounds fine on idle. slowing down for a stop light for example it makes that sputtering noise. any ideas would be greatful. if you got questions let me know.

Shot put help/question?

Im having a very hard time transitioning between indoor and outdoor shot put and i have no idea why, During indoor and even currently when i throw indoor i throw low-mid 40's but now that outdoor is about to begin i have difficulty hitting the 36 mark when im outside. Do good golf clubs make a big difference?

Right now Im playing with my grandpa's clubs he used 15 years ago but they were passed down to me when he passed away. I have a 3 Wood and One driver(both are calloway) all my irons(3-9) are powersquare. They are really old and the grips were awful, until last week I spent some money on grips for each of them. These clubs could probably sell for about $50 on ebay or craigslist. So I'm asking if clubs really do make a difference and right now I hit around a 100. I know that's not good, but Ive only been playing for 3 monthes. Im 16 right now and Ive been talking to my parents about getting new clubs. They say if I make the golf team for my high school then they will chip in $500 and I will put in $500 of my own and get a Titleist $600 iron set, $300 driver, and a new bag while I keep my putter I have know which is actually new. i was hitting the greens or close, but if the pin was in the right i would hit left and so on. i finally went to one of those $15 per person group class, and the first thing the pro did was use the sticks to check my alignment, stance and ball position. i was duffing topping for couple of days, and shazam, i was hitting my irons like radar. so i would say check your alignment and your distances.

Why do pro golf caddies let the pin rest on the green and then lean on it putting an indentation in the green?

As a young caddie we were taught to leave the pin off the green or if on the green, place the pin bottom on top of your shoe and also not stand in the putter's view. When I watch the pros I see these mistakes all the time. The green is considered sacred. With what the pro-caddies are being paid you would think they would know better. Maybe I should go into the caddie business. Answer me please why these rules are so relaxed?

He skipped two months entirely and other two months he gave me his newly calculated one. We went to court once, have another date in few weeks. My lawyer is attempting to prove him willful and has given him a subpeona for his financial records. He also has a laywer now. I'm just wondering what on earth his lawyer could defend? Is there any way he won't have to pay me back and get his amt reduced? He never filed for a modification, just changed it himself. He also claimed to only make $15000 last year but has a vehicle worth about 35,000 dollars, boat, snowmobile, motorcyle, fourwheeler..etc. He has a house that he rents...i don't see how he can get away with this. [Let me say sorry this is so long but i feel its all necessary] I have been in a relationship for about three years now with a young lady with a now three year old, and i have let my moral compass go haywire to make thins work. Now, i see the need to get right with God, but i don't know if i can be with them and still be pleasing in God's sight. I really care for them, and don't want to hurt them, but i REALLY feel the need to get right with God, even if that means i have to leave them in order to pursue righteousness. I want to pray and seek God for an answer, but I recently learned that until i remove sin (especially known sin) from my life, God will not hear me when i pray. So i have told her that i intend to do what i feel will allow me to seek God with my whole heart, even if I must leave them to do so - she never really responds to my words though. In fact, i think she may be mad at the fact that i want to turn over a new more righteous in God leaf and that I'm asking her to make these changes with me in order to be together with me. I keep telling her that there's no love lost over this but that i still care about them and really want this to work out for us to be together still, but for some reason she keeps insisting that i just dont love her and that she's not good enough and that basically she is a victim in all this - when all she has to do is agree to be open to this new direction in life or admit that she doesnt wanna do the things needed to still be together under God. In either case, i'm conflicted because it looks as though i may be waivering in my resolve, especially as she is trying to manipulate me into staying with her and staying more or less the same - when im telling her that there are things we've entertained in the duration of our relationship that in God's eyes are sinful and displeasing to him and that for "us" to work she also must be 100% willing to give up these things and habits as well, to walk with me and not resist for comfort etc. I know she may be scared, but she wont admit it if she is, shes very distant on the issue and very non-responsive, non-sharing of how she really feels and what she really thinks, and just acting like im treating her badly when im trying to tell her to walk with me or let me go. My spouse and I are in the midst of a divorce where we intend to share custody of the kids. I will have the kids for 4 days a week some weeks and she will have them 4 days a week some weeks. We live in close proximity to each other and the kids are adjusting well to the new living situation. We both make decent salaries and we want to deviate from the standard child support amounts. According to the courts they tend to do that which is "in the best interest of the children." That being said, is it possible that the courts will order a higher child support than the amount asked for in the decree? If so is there any recourse?

I keep my boyhood 20 gauge pump action in the closet loaded with four rounds of #3 Buckshot. My Honda Insight has a Makarov 9mm wrapped in the towel tucked up under the front seat. We have been in a long drawn out process of modifying a support order due to extreme pay cut when my husband was laid off. He was paying his ex an amount that was ordered when he made twice his current salary. After almost 2 years, an order was signed by a judge granting the modification, and as retroactive to when the petition was supposed to take affect (but didn't b/c she disputed it, and lost her dispute in the end, we believe it was a stalling technique). Child support enforcement has not received the order yet, but tell us we will have to get the amount she was overpaid for 15 months from her. Is that accurate?? In all divorce and child support cases, the parties are not happy with each other and are probably unwilling to just hand over any money they are not forced to. Just changed my wires, did it in a rush to try and make DEQ (little did I realize it was a budget closer day), and didn't pay attention to the wire lengths. I have a Torro Zero turn mower I bought used last year. About a week ago half way through the back yard it started sputtering pretty badly then stalled out I had added fuel about a half hour before. I got it started and it puttered back onto the shed. I checked the fins for pluggage and the cleaned the air filters (wich I'd already done at the beginning of the summer), I changed the fuel filter but it didn't look plugged. I'm thinking though it has something to do with the fuel, its fresh but maybe water got in there or there's to much eathonol in the gas. I haven't drained the tank or taken off the fuel lines to check for pluggage yet. Is there anything else I should look at that I haven't? Does it sound likely the sputtering is caused by bad fuel? It sputters and stalls even when the engine is cool. It stalls out faster when the blades are on. Any ideas or insights would be apreciated. I'm going to buy some addative for the fuel tomorrow and change the oil (the level is okay but I haven't changed it in a while).

Sometimes i get incredibly angry for no paticular reason at my husband. I then feel like i dont want to be with him and i want a divorce. The next day ill feel totally fine and cant believe i even used the word divorce... could this be a touch of post partum depression?

I know that he is a very philandering person so I try my best to follow him wherever he goes,to make sure he can't meet other women.His response is that he hates it and his attitute has been very hostile towards me.He just acts as though its my fault to follow him around.However,my housekeeper and babysitter suddenly had to quit and now I am stuck at home because we have three kids.Suddenly,I feel very insecure and worry all day long because I don't know where he would go and who he meets,etc.I have tried looking for new babysitter but she needs at least one week to start work.What can I do now?I really can't let him go meet other women,but I am stuck at home.I am really going crazy and I can't eat a single thing.What should I do if I don't want a divorce?

Getting and STAYING motivated to write? Exercises?

That happens to me occasionally. I just have to be in the right mode to write. I haven't even to begun how many times I opened word (including now) and just left the screen blank before shutting down my computer hours later. I have no great advice to share with you, as I have none for myself. You just have to really feel for your writing. It helps me a lot when I can actually visualize a scene before writing it. Sometimes you just have to start a new story that sparks your interest and come back to the other one another time. Maybe the story just isn't you anymore, know what I mean? I have a writing kit and I pull a popsicle stick with an idea on it and I have five minutes to write as much as possible on that topic. That might work for you. Using your story and just trying to force yourself to write off of it. Or just read your stories over and over and over again. Sometimes music gives me the motivation...actually most of the time :P I find when listening to music I'm one with my story so I can focus and block out everything else and be able to write a couple of paragraphs or pages or whatever. My girlfriend of a year and a half broke up about 3 month ago. It was messy and we have just know started talking to eachother again without surcumbing to arguements. She told me that she still cares about me alot and she misses me, but she can not be in a relationship at the stime. She wants to find out if she can be happy on her own. (divorced, we started dating right after the divorce). I have been over to her house 2x now. The first night, we ended up fooling around and she start crying. She said "this does not feel right and that she cares about me so much. She siad"i do not just want to be a booty call" She got very affectionate and i ended up leaving about an hour later. The next night we talked and i kissed her a few times. Towards the end she started to get a little hesitient but still kissed me back. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and have been living together for about 1 1/2 years. We have always been affectionate and we have always told each other I love you; we have been known to be right down Korney lol....but, lately I have noticed that he has been even more korney than usual for example he sent me a text message this morning saying Good Morning Beautiful I love you this much....................................… his good morning texts have been including I love you a real lot....I love you a whole bunch....we always send each other good morning texts but, he has been adding these little extras lately. Don't get me wrong I love it; I was just wondering do you all think something might be going on with him? Possibly he is feeling insecure and looking for reassurance in my responses? It is not only in his good morning texts that I have noticed things.....he has been more touchy lately (affectionately) etc....I should mention we are both divorced and both have children from previous marriages and we are in our mid thirties so we are not kids in puppy love. BAH After Divorce in the Army?

I have filed for divorce in Texas, and it will be final after 60 days. I am an E-4, collecting the BAH W/DEP rate. Both my wife and I are on a lease off post that will last another 10 months. I currently have an allotment set up for the total BAH W/DEP amount that goes into her account since the rent comes out of her account. The landlord will not let me off the lease, and she has no way of paying the rent without me, and I cannot afford to pay anything without BAH. My question is, when the divorce is final, can I put in a 4187 to change to the without dependents rate for length of the lease since that was done prior to my BAH entitlement ending, or am I just SOL and going to have to go into debt with breaking a lease and having that on my credit? Fort Hood doesn't authorize BAH usually unless you are E-6 and above, and S1 wasn't any help at all when I asked them this question. If anyone has a definitive answer, or a reference on the reg governing this it would be appreciated. I am deploying very soon and need to make sure I'm not going to get screwed while I'm gone. Rife putter, does this sound real or fake?

So i bought a rife two bar hybrid on ebay, but checked out the seller's info before hand. this guy sold over 100 items and has a 100% satisfaction rate, so seems legit. But my rife putter has a messy paint job on the face. the white paint is smeared on the metal and blue faceplate. this could be whiteout added though for some reason. also, the feel is like the blue faceplate 'clicks' when struck. as if the faceplate bounces a little at impact. anyone who has a rife putter tell me if this sounds right.

My ex husband and i have been divorce for 2 years we ave 2 wonderful kids a 13 year old son with autism and a 15 year old daughter. These past two years have been hell for me and my ex we both have joint custody and right now my daugther is currently in therapy. I git mad and got er to admit what she did she told me the truth she apologized to her father and the charges was dropped but that wasn't enough she caused so much heartache in this family its not even funny. I am so burnt out right now i don't know what to do with her i have failed as a mother i provide so much for my kids i love them very much i will do anythhing for them between her behavior and my son's autism my ex and i are out of options i know what she is going through been there done that but what can my ex and i do as her parents to snapped her out of it?

Why am i topping my new driver!?

Hi, i am a 9 handicap golfer and have been playing good golf as of late. I thought id spoil myself and trade in my Taylormade R7 driver and purchased the Callaway FT iZ driver, which i hit like a dream in the showroom. I have been on the course twice with it now, hit one driver 250m down the middle of the fairway and after that have struggled to get the ball past the ladies tee. My fairway wood irons and putter has saved these rounds. What could the problem be? as i did not have any issues with my old driver??

How to deal with codependent mother?

My mom's in her mid 50's, and im about early 20's. My mom had some troubled past that led to her anxiety and rejection to reality. The problem is, my mom was never that independent to begin with, but in a way that she did what she wanted and still had a place to come back to with my dad. She divorced m dad 2 years ago b/c of differences, and she's still with a deadbeat husband that cannot be found. Right now my dad doesn't want anything to do with my mom, and I'm her only emotional support, she still have a few friends left and she can only go out if there are people she knows. Lately she hasn't need me physically with her too much, but she still calls me 10 times a day, and have to see me if there are no one with her. Her doc has been telling her that she needs to practice going out by herself atleast once a week, but she hasn't been doing that for a while. I unfortunately is very emotional too, my health isn't that great either, and my work is stressful. There's many things I want to do for her but don't know how or have he patience to. Ever time when I tell my mom about how she should think about gettin better and start doing something for her future, she tells me that she doesn't think she'll live that long anyways.

My estranged husband was deported after I began divorce proceeding in Florida?

My estranged husband and I filed for divorce on June 13th, 2011. We have a 2 year old son together. He has never paid child support. Today June 29th, 2011 he was detained by immigration and sent to the holding detention center because he has a criminal background and visited his country of birth (Nicaragua) last month without the proper paperwork being filed.
