Quick piggie question :)?

My mom and dad are divorced, and I go to my dad's every other weekend, and this weekend is his weekend. I really hate to leave Pappy, my current piggy, at home because my dad is taking me on a 2 hour drive to get a new guinea pig. I want them to meet as soon as we get home...he only lives about 15 minutes away from where I do. Is it okay to transport Pappy back a forth with me as I go? I leave Friday afternoon, then stay until Monday--if that helps any. Thanks for your timee(:
