What is the best selection of clubs to built the best arsenal?

Only u know ur game, no one can answer this for u..I carry a 2 iron which i use mostly for long low shots from under trees..most ppl have never seen a 2 iron...but it works for my game...And there is no magic set of clubs that will make u a good golfer. If ur serious, then as u play and learn u will figure out which clubs are best for u by testing a wide variety..U basically have 3 types of irons, cavity back, forged, and hybrids..go to range or golf facility where u can try them all..Most beginners start with cavity back irons .Then find a used set of Pings, Callaways etc and start to develop a swing and feel for the game..
