I need a little golf help........?
You need to take your clubs to the range and figure out how far you are able to hit each one of your irons, the distance varies from golfer to golfer. Lower numbered irons are your long irons. A 3 iron is typically used for a 200 yard shot, whereas a 9 iron is used for 140-150 yard shots. Wedges are used for shorter shots, usually 100 yards and in and for finesse shots (not full swings) and some golfers will get creative with different irons around the greens for chipping. Basically after you get off the tee, you will use an iron for your approach shot to the green, and the distance between you and the green dictates which iron you pull out of your bag.
